My role would be described as Technology, Data, and Digital Journey Business Partnering, with a strong focus on rapid problem-solving based on the needs and activities of various service use cases and stakeholders. I have demonstrated a deep understanding of frameworks, processes, terms, and acronyms used across multiple government departments and agencies, including DHSC, Test and Trace, PHE, DfE, the Joint Biosecurity Centre (JBC), and GDS.

My Key Responsibilities:

Service Lead for Halo Tools, Egress, and Salesforce:

  • Salesforce Administration and Implementation:
    • I represent the university’s Service in programme-wide Salesforce requirements gathering and implementation planning.
    • I handle the administration, configuration, and reporting of Salesforce.
  • Egress Management:
    • I manage the operations relationship with Egress, focusing on document management and web forms.
    • I provide requirements for updates to critical forms and escalate any issues related to web forms.
  • Halo Tools Administration:
    • I set up and administer various tools, including Jira, Jira Service Desk, Confluence, SharePoint Libraries, MS Teams Channels, Trello, DevOps, and Slack.
  • Team Leadership and Agile Methodologies:
    • I lead the daily cadence for the team on a weekly basis.
    • I am certified in Agile DSDM & Prince 2, and a Certified Scrum Master, facilitating agile processes and methodologies.
  • Change Management:
    • I act as the Change Owner for data and digital requests, ensuring they are seen through to completion.
    • I support epidemiological data visualisation and analysis for the Clinical Lead and Director SCS 1.
  • Digital Issue Resolution:
    • I secure appropriate information on digital issues and liaise with NHS Digital and other relevant parties to resolve these issues.
  • UKHSA Transition Leadership:
    • I lead the transition for tools and technology as the UKHSA representative.
    • I oversee system implementations from a requirements gathering perspective and communicate requirements and timelines to stakeholders.
  • Reporting and Change Requests:
    • I report on the status of change requests to stakeholders, including DfE and other relevant departments.
    • I raise digital change requests in accordance with standard processes.
    • I attend triage meetings to address queries related to digital changes.
  • Requirements Management:
    • I identify new requirements resulting from changes being implemented.
    • I maintain and update the master requirements log.
  • Digital Context Understanding:
    • I possess a comprehensive understanding of the broader digital context beyond the immediate use case.
  • Query and Support Handling:
    • I respond to digital queries raised via mailbox and webinars.
    • I onboard new team members and provide ad-hoc digital and technical support across DHSC, T&T (Halo), and NHS.net.
  • Representation and Meetings:
    • I chair Digital Huddle meetings.
    • I participate in Data/Digital Journey Meetings.
    • I represent service use in various digital use case working groups, including Salesforce and UKHSA Transition.
    • I support technical and content aspects of webinars.
    • I represent service use in DfE/HEI Webinars.
